The act underwent a major revision in 1992 which served to address a number of inconsistencies and developments which had developed over time. The major change is that the TDG Act, 1992, was enacted in relation to all matters that are within the legislative authority of Parliament. In addition, the wording of the TDG Act, 1992, closed a number of loopholes, areas of confusion and inconsistencies. |
